pretty good mystery,

It's a little on the dated side but I found it hard to put down, with interesting character portrayals -- they were all very plausable except maybe the background of the protaganist, good writing and I wasn't able to guess who did it.One especially well done literary approach was the way the author dropped briefly into the mind of a cat. It was only a small portion of the book but remarkably well done. The only thing that kept it from being a 5 was that some of the coincidences in the plot seemed a bit unlikley. |
