A Death on Crooked Lake gives an intriguing insight into the lives of the locals and their fears of being forthright with the new local sheriff. This is a book that must not be put down until the mystery is solved. Great entertainment.

Agreat who-dun-it in the classical style with interesting characters and plenty of suspense to carry you through the story. Fun to read. Looking forward to another one!

This is good whodunit! Bob Gregg pulls us along with well-placed teasers that kept me turning pages to the very end. I knew Bob in high school and am delighted to see he is using his dramatic and literary talents after retiring from his "day job" as political scientist. He is one of the good guys, as well as an excellent author. His second and third books are a must read for mystery-lovers.

Loved it! Our family vacations on "Crooked Lake" in NY State each year, so it was a wonderful reading for me and my whole family.

One of several Crooked Lake mysteries, I think this is one of my favorites. Love the cop and the professor! The cast of characters rings true and I found myself "solving" the mystery as I read. A super summer read when sitting lakeside...
