Spilling over from the events of the first Project Super Powers story arch, the Death Defying Devil gets his own 4 issue series. You would think it would be difficult to have a mini series in which the main character doesn't speak. Luckily enough the supporting cast is quite chatty and with good artwork and some thought balloons, you get all you need from the Devil. I would not recommend reading this unless you have read the first story arch of Project Super Powers. It is written with the assumption that you have a knowledge of at least some of the events of that story. This collection has the 4 issues of the mini series, the 11 pages free comic from free comic day and lots of sketches and character designs. Besides giving a little more insight into the Devil, it also raises a very big question at the end of the series. Supporting cast includes Silver Streak, the Ghost, the Dragon and the Claw. I enjoyed Project Super Powers and I enjoyed this just as much.
