My husband and I loved the book, Death, Heaven and Back!
What really makes it exciting is we were there for the entire thing except the trip to heaven but we were at the hospital waiting for him to return.Lonnie fought a tremendous battle, but every word is true! If this doesn't convince you about God and miracles I don't know what could.
As for us WE BELIEVE!!!!

I really enjoyed the book. The individual perspectives from his wife, family and friends really give an all around overview of what happened.

The medical descriptions show the gravity of the situation and let you know that this was actually a death and resurrection experience.

Only by the grace of God could anyone go through what Lonnie went through and be as positive and upbeat as he was in the emails at the end of the book.

What an amazing story of death, heaven and resurrection miracles.

When I read this book, it was so amazingly real and made an impact on my life in a way that I never thought that it could. The book illustrates the struggles that this man went through as cancer battled its way into his life and eventually, with God's amazing hand, Lonnie wins the battle! Lonnie, the man in this book, never gives up hope in the Lord and it inspired me that he would never stop giving it all back to God.
If you are going through anything, big or small, this is an awesome book to read, that will encourage you and remind you that you are in God's hands and he will take care of you! I recommend this book to anyone!

I again found a book that I could not stop reading because it was so good. This man went through so much, but even before his visit to heaven he was witnessing to others about the greatness of God. I was humbled beyond compare with how Rev Honeycutt dealt with his sickness and kept trusting God. I have no doubt that his visitation was real and it gives us all hope and expectations of what is to come for those who believe in the forgiving power of Jesus Christ.

An astounding book emphasizing the importance of Love! I was captured from the 1st page as this book gives perspectives not only from the patient's view but also family, friends and fellowship members. Lonnie's experience is reinforcement that even in today's frustrating times - miracles can, and do, still happen!

I thoroughly enjoyed the realistic pre- and post-event sharing - especially the inner struggles in the aftermath of God's wonderful work. Fascinating use of emails and such to chronicle and share the thoughts and feelings of everyone around. The book is God oriented, yet complete with very human reactions. Awesome work. Thanks Lonnie!

I loved this book and highly recommend it for anyone going through cancer or dealing with someone who has cancer. Not only is this an amazing story of someone coming back from death, it is also the story of how to walk through incredible difficulty with integrity.

I've never seen a book like this before. In this book, Lonnie reveals the struggles and the weaknesses, as well as the victories. In addtion to his description of heaven, his wife, his friends, his neighbors, his pastor, his fellow church members have all contributed their experience to this story.

This is a story not only of God's love for us, or the story of Lonnie's love for God, but it includes the love that Lonnie, his wife and children have for each other, and how miracles happen when the Body of Christ comes together in love.

The medical testimony is complete to the point of being graphic. There is no attempt to hide struggles, weaknesses or to cover up failures.

On Saturday February 16, 2008 Lonnie died. His heart, blood pressure and brain activity went to zero. He went to heaven. He came back. He and his friends and family have written about what came before, what happened that day, and what came after.

I know this is a true story, I was there that day, and I saw it happen.

This book is fantastic. It captures in detail what he, his family, friends and church were going through during this whole period. It is uplifting for those who may be going through severe hardship. Pastor Lonnie shows that he is a man who loves the Lord, in spite of going through so much anguish, emotionally and physically. His testimony has made me stronger in my Christian faith. Also, it is very touching that Lonnie shared his full range of emotions throughout the book. Despite depression and stress, he never lost faith and was even concerned about others during this most difficult time. It shows that miracles do happen today, and a man's perseverence in his faith and trust in God.

The heaven part of the book is about 3 pages long. The rest is about how self glorifying and great Lonnie Honeycutt is and his day to day life story. Who cares!!!! Do not buy this book!!!! Very disappointing!!! If you want to read a GREAT inspirational book about going to heaven read "Heaven is for Real" It is awesome!! you will not put that book down until you are finished. You will not be disappointed like you would with Honeycutt's book!!
