About the Author
Dorothy Salisbury Davis is the author of 20 novels, seventeen of which are mysteries, and numerous short stories. She has received seven Edgar nominations and in 1985 received the Mystery Writers of America grandmaster award. One of her books, A Gentle Murderer, is considered a classic in the genre.
Mrs Davis was married for 47 years to the actor, Harry Davis, who died in 1993. She lives in an old house in Palisades, NY and admits to being indentured to a Maine Coon cat, Pookha. She is a member of the Adams Round Table.
