This album kicks the sh*t out of many other hard core stuff, May 24, 1999
By A Customer
This album has all the good stuff that hard-core people like. it has hard songs and more. the only bad thing on it was that most of the songs sounded the same. but its no real complaint. I saw them at Krazy Fest and they were awesome.

Personally, I love this CD... Scott Vogel's originating voice was amazingly powerful. He had more balls than Jasta ever has and ever will!! The fact that the music is so tight is another plus, however if you scan through the CD listening to only the first few seconds of each song, you will notice that they all pretty much start with an open D chord... which I find hillarious but I still love it. (To the first reviewer of this album) Dude who really buys CD's anymore anyway? If you're not technologically educated I suppose I could understand but.... you posted a review so I'd think you are at least enough to not have to buy CD's. One last thing, I know much of what they were doing had been done before.... but dude who really cares? They do it BETTER in the fact that their sound actually has BALLS!!

WAY BETTER THAN TERROR, April 7, 2006
Buried Alive, one of the greatest hardcore bands from Buffalo, NY, also the home for such bands as Goo Goo dolls, Slugfest, Despair, Dead To the World, Snapcase, Infamous, Dead Hearts, No Time Left, The Fallen, and others. Given the fact that Buffalo is one of the toughest (and nicest) city to live in, the root of Buried Alive is easily accounted for. This CD is, without doubt, better than two Terror CDs. If you want the perfection, this CD is the answer because it possesses the outstanding combination of speed, heaviness, toughness, breakdowns, and integrity. People tend to compare them to Madball, but they are musically different. Madball is a pure NYHC which nobody can imitate. Anyway, Buried Alive's live was also phenomenal as I had witnessed several times. The band was one of the few and far between bands that can entertain audiances to full extent. I wish they would be back together again.
