A perfect combination to exhibit their talent,

This is a great example of the wide variety of talent from the Pixies. Although Doolittle is my personal favorite album, I still love that this album provides samples from every album the Pixies has made which in turn provides a very pleasing listening experience. I would reccomend this album to even the slightest Pixies fan because it definately has the best of the best on it...

Wow, what could I say. From the moment I listened to my girlfriends copy of disc one, I was floored. A perfect greatest hits compilation on the first disc...and when your done with that, you havea whole concert waiting to blow your mind on the second disc. Highly recommended for any piXies fan or if your just looking to get into them. This to me is just some of the best music ever made. The 90's alt rock/ grunge scene was the last time people like me would ever watch MTV. The music was just awesome, reminds me of the good times in Jr. High and early high school. And keeps a lot of those goodtimes just coming and coming...ah the beauty and sweet bliss of good music!!

Brutal, brutal live album... And that's Disk 2!,

Disk 1 is a most competent 'best of', but just wait 'till you hear the tremendous concert on disk2... It's amazing, and with the guys going live again, an essential piece of history and even a necessary item for 'then-now' contrasting. Just listen to jewels like the live 'Into the White', 'Vamos', 'Isla de Encanta' or 'Monkey Gone to Heaven' and you will, if you aren't already one, be one addicted Pixies fan.

Obviously, this is a compilation album, so I'm sure all other Pixies CDs are great too. For some one who at all likes Nirvana, Sonic Youth, and other older grunge/punk bands, I strongly recommend you listen to this album. Every single song on this CD will stick in your head. When you first buy the album, you'll like it from the start. A lot. And then you'll keep listening to it. Like me, you'll try to listen a little less, so that you don't get sick of such great songs. A day goes by and you can't go on without listening to "Monkey Gone To Heaven" ot "Planet of Sound" or "Debaser" or...you get what I mean. You come back from work/school and play it loud over and over. This is when you realize that you can never get bored of the Pixies. They are awesome. Frank Black has the best screaming voice ever. That is all. And remember - you may the the son of incestuous union
