A Superb Textbook!,
By Sandra Helene Straub (Port St. Lucie, Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Death, Society, and Human Experience (7th Edition) (Paperback)
Death, Society, and the Human Experience is a wonderful textbook! I have been using it in my class The Sociology of Death and Dying for the past four years. This book provides the information necessary to any real understanding and examination of societal assumptions and attitudes toward death and dying. It not only enhances the knowledge of the student but provides the groundwork for new readers in the field. The book is a beautiful presentation of stimulating facts that will help everyone confront death and dying in a more personal and lasting manner.
