Though it contains a few science fictional elements (well, okay, one: recombinant DNA), Anne Knight's novel Death Storm is basically a paranormal thriller, of the type made popular by Stephen King and Dean Koontz.

More About the Author

Being born in Phoenix seemed to link me to mythology and imagination almost immediately. My father was the seventh son of a seventh son, and he always told me he'd willed that "magic" to me. I wrote almost before I could read. I can remember my first writing pad and pencil and my frustration that 'cat', 'bat' and 'rat' didn't make a book! I was about five at the time. Now I publish in print and e book. Look around. I hope you enjoy the fantasy and thrillers, science fiction and mystery that I've brewed up over the years.

This book was a grabber from the start. I can find nothing on this author so I'm guessing it is a first book and a very good one too. Left wide open for a sequel and I hope there is one soon. Nothing more needs to be said except, "READ IT" you won't be sorry.
