3.0 out of 5 stars He shouldn't have died
True love is supposed to conquer all. I know CF victims aren't given a long life, but in my research, most patients live into their thirties and some into their fifties. I will give credit for the reality and emotions it brings out of the reader, but, still, Mark shouldn't have died. With love he should have conquered the car accident.

When I was first drawn to this book, it was shortely after I had lost my own boyfriend to cystic fibrosis. What stunned me most was reading the very end. It was as if Lurlene McDaniel had written my own story! Just three months before this book was published, I had watched my own boyfriend suffer painfully from CF and the day before his death, we were united in marriage in ICU. It was absolutely heart-wrenching but beautiful all the same. So you can imagine my shock and suprise when I found this book on the bookshelves of stores, I was literally speechless. It's a beautiful story I would recommand to everyone. It's a story that resembles my own life.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Of The Best, March 3, 2000
By A Customer
This was the first book that I read by Lurlene McDaniel, and I picked it up totally by chance. But I am so glad I did. If you're reading this review right now, you probably know a little something about Lurlene McDaniel. First of all, her books are tearjerkers, there's no way around it. But they are extremly well written and make you feel almost every emotion known to man. And they are touching. So reader, you know Ms. McDaniel, and my advice to you is read this book. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you fall completely in love.

If you liked this book, try Don't Die My Love, Saving Jessica, The Girl Death Left Behind, all the One Last Wish books and The Legacy: Making Wishes Come True- all by Lurlene McDaniel

If you're a romantic teen like me, I suggest all of Julie Garwood's books Whitney, My Love; Paradise; Until You; Almost Heaven; Perfect by Judith McNaught The Heiress by Jude Devoraux All of Amanda Quick's (AKA Jane Ayne Krentz) books

Happy Readings :)

I really liked the book "Till Death Do Us Part" by Lurlene McDaniel. It was very emotional and touching. I really think its an award winning novel in the future. I love to read, and I'm sure I'll read this book again. After I read this book, I ran to the library to check out what happens next to April Lancaster in "For Better, For Worse, Forever"

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Book!, January 29, 2004
A Kid's Review
Lurlene McDaniel is one of the best authors I have read. One of the best books I have read by her is called "Till Death Do Us Part". This book was a very emotional book. McDaniel did a great job at making everything come togather in the end. During this book April is diagnosed with a brain tumor, that is inoperable. While all this is going on she meets a guy named Mark. Mark has cystic fibrosis. She and Mark start hanging out and going places togather. Pretty soon April starts falling in love with Mark. A couple of months later they get engaged. One day Mark got in a serious accident, that could change both their lifes forever.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!, May 6, 2003

My fiance has cystic fibrosis so this book hit close to home. It's a very realistic story about living with CF.
April Lancaster is hesitant a first about dating Mark Gianni because he's sick. But dispite it all she fall in love with him. To everyone's dispproval they want to get married. When Mark gets into a horrible car accident that complicates the CF, his and April's unknown future becomes even cloudier. April refuses to leave her dearly beloved. Read to find out how April deals with it and what happens to this heaven sent couple.
My fiance and I were touch. It almost tells the story of our loving relationship. And the horrors and uncertainies of living with a medical condition. It's a great book and will truly touch all who read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very touching story by Lurlene McDaniel, October 19, 2002
By A Customer
The story begins when April Lancaster is in the hospital for constant severe headaches. She meets a man named Mark Gianni, who has cystic fibrosis. He immediately likes April when he first sets eyes on her. But April is hesitant because she already has a boyfriend, the soccer coach from her school. Meanwhile, April learns that she has a reoccurrence of what happened to her five years ago, an enlarging brain tumor. She undergoes treatment while seeing Mark more and more. She goes out with him to restaurants, to the car races that he drives in, etc. They fall deeper in love as time goes on. Soon, April finds out that her tumor is dormant but the treatment hasn't shrunk it at all. She is deeply upset but Mark is the only one who can help her. He asks April to marry him and she agrees. But will their dream of living a "normal" life together come true? Read this very touching and well-written story to find out. It was one of the best books I have read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Till death do us part, December 3, 2000
By
Minas Boyadzhyan (los angeles, ca usa) - See all my reviews
Minas Boyadzhyan Period 6, English December 2, 2000 Topic #4 Till Death Do Us Part The novel I chose to read was titled Till Death Do Us Part by Lurlene McDaniel. This was the first book I had ever read from the author Lurlene McDaniel and I was very pleased because it was a terrific book. This novel contains two hundred and three pages. After completing this novel in only a matter of one night, I have to say that this is a great book to read, well at least it was for me and hopefully it will be for others also. There are many reasons why this book is such a good book to read and one of the most important reasons is that the author Lurlene McDaniel keeps you interested in the story. This book had many strengths but one of the main strengths was that the author keeps you interested in the book because this story was a page turner. I have read many books and this book was the most unique one due to many reasons. While reading this book I realized that anyone of us could have had the same sickness as one of the main characters did in this novel. This book is excellent for teenagers because it teaches them that it is not the outside of a person that counts but it is their innersole. Another strength in this story was that it was well written and very well explained, It had great description of characters and their roles in the novel. The reason this book is so strengthful is because it contains the expression of love, sadness, and frightens all in one novel. Although this story had many strengths, it also had a few weaknesses. One of the weaknesses was that this novel mainly focused on love and for some of us love just isn't what makes the perfect book. For me love is also not the ingredient that makes it good to read. This book also needs to contain some actions to keep the reader interested. The way this author wrote the story, it made the story interesting without action but with action it would have been a better novel. I recommend this book to people aged from 12 and above. I would recommend kids under twelve not to read this novel because it is a love story and small children would not understand this book's meaning, which will make the whole book nonsense for them. For those who are twelve and over I highly recommend you to read this novel because it has everything a teenager likes from love to fright. I guarantee that whoever reads this novel will not regret it one

bit. For those who do not like reading you should give it a try and read this book, because I myself do not enjoy reading but this book was interesting enough for me to complete. In closing this book taught me a very important lesson which is love people for who they are on the inside and not how they look on the outside. I learned this lesson by reading the novel Till Death Do Us Part by Lurlene McDaniel. I recommend others to read this novel because I think that the lesson presented in the novel Till Death Do Us Part is a terrific life lesson about love and trust.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Incredible Love Story That Will Definantley Make You Cry, October 26, 2000
By A Customer
This book was great! The whole plot was great, the characters were great... just a great love story that makes you see that you will fall in love with a person for who they are, not what they are. I would definantley recommend this book to anyone who likes sappy love stories. Every woman in their right mind needs a good cry from time to time and this book will definantley do that to you. The story of Mark and April is one in a million, and the expressions of love, sadness, scare, and mad are all part of this book.
