5.0 out of 5 stars Rik to the Forager, September 10, 2011

This review is from: Death's Angels (Volume One of the Terrarch Chronicles) (Kindle Edition)
In this story we follow Rik a halfbreed member of a Forager Company. Raised in the slums that are the sorrows and even denied much of the recognition for the deeds he completes along the way, Rik is not your typical hero. Willing to sacrificed much but not everything for his own personal gain, he makes a somewhat unlikely hero as the Foragers are thrust time and again against a mysterious set of foes determined to bring back a dead god.

A very enjoyable book I highly recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good start, September 30, 2011
This review is from: Death's Angels (Volume One of the Terrarch Chronicles) (Kindle Edition)
William King has written some great stuff based in the Warhammer world. He has started building a great world of his own in the Terrarch series. With a diverse cast of characters and some interesting political intrigue I'm interested to see where it's going.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, February 21, 2012

This review is from: Death's Angels (Volume One of the Terrarch Chronicles) (Kindle Edition)
William King, best known for his work for Games Workshops Black Library, branches out with his very own world of sorcery, flintlocks, and bayonets. Centered around Rik the Halfbreed, Deaths Angels introduces it's readers to the harsh lives of the Foragers, and lays the foundation for a engaging series full of action, and political maneuvering delivered with a strong descriptive narrative, and a cast of consistent and developing characters.

If you are looking for a story that will pull you in, and keep you reading, I would strongly reccomend Death's Angels. At 99 cents, you've got nothing to lose.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Great Series, December 9, 2011

This review is from: Death's Angels (Volume One of the Terrarch Chronicles) (Kindle Edition)
William King is the author of the Gotrek and Felix series and seems to have done as excellent a job with this new series. It has the same air of stark reality about it as the other series and the same bloody combat. I do recommend it to fantasy lovers and especially to William King fans.
