About the Author

William Kerr's first novel, "Path of the Golden Dragon," made the New York Times Paperback Best Seller List. A native of Greenwood, Mississippi, he spent most of his adult life in the U.S. Navy, including shipboard duty and assignments at the Pentagon and the Charleston Naval Base. Since retirement from the Navy, he is a professional novelist and screenwriter, and has won numerous awards for his books and screenplays. He and his wife, Rebecca, live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Both are avid scuba divers who have dived on shipwrecks and other underwater sites in Florida waters and the Caribbean. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.
