Kudos to Kent Wallace for Death's Green Eyes, a thriller set in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York that keeps you in suspense until the final chapter. There's plenty of local color as well as many colorful characters (and lots of sex in all the cities). There are also a number of murders. Narrator/amateur sleuth Wade Ellington, is a magnet for beautiful babes and for trouble, which often come in the same package in this book. It's an exciting read; I'm looking forward to further adventures of Mr. Ellington.
