One of the best science fiction horrors out there,
By Laraqua (Adelaide) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Deathstalker Prelude (Paperback)
This is one of my favourite horror novels, although technically it's three horror novels, and I have read it over three times at least. Although he has a habit of repeating his characters in each of these three novels, the premises are distinct enough that it's highly forgiveable. Each premise is disturbing, richly thought out, and well worth the time you spend on it. The scenes are well-described, the dialogue well-written and it's basically a brilliant read.
I could tell you the premises, but I don't want to spoil one of the best parts of this, so I'll just say that one of them bears a passing resemblance to the movie Virus and one involves mutations. |
