4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!, January 15, 2009
This review is from: Debating Robert Lee (DVD)
This is one of the best movies that I've ever watched. The movie was stellar, and depicted teenagers who were focusing on very interesting debate topics, while learning to work together and deal with their own personal lives.
There are quite a few inappropriate words in this picture, but if it weren't for that, I would have give it a 5 star rating.

3.0 out of 5 stars Still Debating With Myself, December 21, 2006
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Debating Robert Lee (DVD)
The acting, particularly by Midriff, Cuoco, Harris and Kay was great, the story was moving at a good pace, and every character ark was interesting. The problem is,while it was a great movie...it wasnt clear what it was about...it become apparrent halfway through that the actual debating was fallin to the wayside for the kids personal lives...and it wasnt till then that we actually caught on to the debating being a pretext for the kids making their lives their own. not to mention that in the last 20 mins the movie turns from a comfortable standing up/coming up age deal to total drama...we go to see these movies to forget our own problems, and while this film does a great job handling the crisis at the end of the film for the 4 main kids...its too close to the pain we have to feel as an audience in our own lives. SO kudos to the filmmakers for making a realatable and well played out drama, but we dont wanna see our own lives on screen,we want to see the happy ending/bad guys never win thing that we dont always get out of life. So again, well done...poorly recepted.
