Oz Rock At It's Best, December 1, 2000

Choirboys are described on the back of this CD as "one of the finest bands to ever rise out of the Australian pub scene". They are most famous for their three hits off the "Big Bad Noise" album - "Run To Paradise" (the 8th biggest selling single of the '80's), "Boys Will Be Boys" and "Struggle Town". Apart from these three songs, other favourites include "Rendezvous", "Never Gonna Die" and "Boys In The Band". Choirboys are also described as 'under-rated'. This is true. Too often they are only identified as the band that produced "Run To Paradise", when this album proves that they have an array of good songs and a ton of talent. Choirboys are still playing the odd live show and they still go off. This album comes with my highest recommendation.
