Live Wire
Piece Of Your Action Shout At The Devil Looks That Kill Home Sweet Home Smokin' In The Boys Room Girls, Girls, Girls Wild Side Dr. Feelgood Kickstart My Heart Teaser Rock 'N' Roll Junkie Primal Scream Angela Anarchy In The U.K Since Amazon has not listed the tracks that appear on this album right on this page,I thought that I would post them for you. All of those tracks are the tracks that first appeared on Motley Crue's first greatest hits compilation,"Decade Of Decadence:81-91". While it is not perfect,it is really good. As already mentioned below, this compilation contains material from the Motley Crue albums "Too Fast For Love"(1982),"Shout At The Devil",(1983),"Theatre Of Pain"(1985),"Girls,Girls,Girls"(1987),and "Dr. Feelgood"(1989). As for the other tracks, you get two tracks that Motley Crue recorded for two motion picture soundtracks:"Teaser"(a cover song that was first written by Tommy Bolan and Jeff Cook that Motley Crue did for the album "Stairway To Heaven,Highway To Hell"),and "Rock 'N' Roll Junkie",an original song by the group that was written by Nikki Sixx,Tommy Lee,and Mick Mars and recorded for the soundtrack album "The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane"(1990). There are a remainder of three tracks that Motley Crue had managed to get in the studio to record right before this record was released so they could probably get fans who already owned the orignal albums to buy this album:the tracks that had been previously recorded for this compilation are:"Primal Scream"(which made people predict that Motley Crue was going for a different style of music after they heard this song, and they proved to be right when the album that came out right after this was Motley Crue's self-titled grunge album that featured John Corabi, one of the lead singers for the Scream, substituting for Vince Neil on lead vocals),"Angela"(a very pretty love song that could have been and should have been a hit),and a funny profanity soaked cover of The Sex Pistols' "Anarchy In The U.K.",which kind of points a middle finger towards the United States Government. My pick out of all of the songs that were recorded for this album is "Primal Scream","Anarchy In The U.K." is a pretty good and funny cover, and I'll say it again:ANGELA(the song, not a specific person)COULD HAVE BEEN AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HIT!!!!! Overall, this is a very cool compilation. I am a die hard Crue fan,and as of 2005,the Motley Crue compilation you would be best off getting is their new two disc set "Red,White, and Crue". If you own that album and the rest of Motley's albums, then there is really no need to get this album seperately,so here is what you should do:Get "Red,White, and Crue",and then buy this as a part of Volume Two of Motley Crue's "Music To Crash Your Car To Box Set"-this album was re-issued with that box set,and you don't get all of the tracks that were included here(although you will get them if you buy "Red,White, and Crue" and Volume One of the box set that I just mentioned)-but the cool thing is if you get this album as a part of "Music To Crash Your Car To:Volume Two",you get the '91 remix of "Home Sweet Home",the kick ... '91 remix of "Live Wire",the screamin '91 remix of "Piece Of Your Action",live versions of "Kickstart My Heart" and "Dr. Feelgood",and the rest has unreleased stuff(demos of songs that had been released but the demo had not been released, and demos for songs that had not been released at all),as well as a poster for this album...so have a great day, thank you for reading my review of this, and whether you decide to buy this album seperately or with the "Music To Crash Your Car To:Volume Two" box set, don't forget...Motley Crue rules!!!!!!!

This Video is some of the best and most complete that I seen, You have: Great Interviews with each member of the band, FULL videoclips collection chronilogically ordered, Complete Documental of the bands, tones of pictures, back stage filmations, the version of Home Sweet Home' 91, and a lot more!! Almost 2 hours of coolest Motley's stuff. Sadly this video is no longer made, so if you can get it and are a Die Hard Motley Fan, don't miss this jewel! because it may never be avaible again.

Their best compilation album,

Decade Of Decadence, in my opinion, remains the best compilation album ever released by Motley Crue. The album starts out with a bang and never lets up. The intensity level is awesome and the disc really holds your attention. The disc begins with a remix of their classic song from their first album, Live Wire. There is a great improvement in sound over the original recording. The next track is Piece Of Your Action, another great remix from their first album. Shout At The Devil follows, and sounds better than ever. Looks That Kill is next. Then there's another remix, this time Home Sweet Home. This remixed version sounds a lot better than the original version that appeared on the album Theatre Of Pain. The piano is piano in its pure form -- just piano, not piano that's hidden underneath other keyboard/synthesizer sounds, as on the Theatre Of Pain version. It sounds a lot clearer, also. The album contains many more Crue classixx, and contains a live version of Kickstart My Heart. The songs Teaser and Rock N' Roll Junkie are awesome, vintage Crue songs. The last three songs on the album are then-new recordings, Primal Scream, Angela, and a cover of the Sex Pistols' Anarchy In The U.K. This album is a winner. If you want a taste of the first ten years of the band, get this album from somewhere. The album cover and liner notes are great as well. This album was actually my first Crue album purchase, and it serves as a great introduction disc to any new fan. Highly recommended.

It's a sad irony that Motley Crue now seem to have more retrospective sets than actual albums now. Which one you buy depends on how much of a fan you are. The 2 "Music to Crash Your Car By" sets are for hardcore fans only, same with "Supersonic & Demonic Relics". "Red White & Crue", while certainly extensive has too many obscure tracks for its own good. And the "Greatest Hits" set is just an expansion of their first (and still best) collection "Decade of Decadence". Released in 1991 to commemorate their first 10 years recording, "Decade" is a solid set that tries to give fans a little bit of everything in one disc that would normally be done in 2 (i.e. hits, live cuts, unreleased tracks, etc.). And it largely succeeds. Of the 15 tracks here, 9 are essential cuts from their first 5 albums (8 if you count the 1991 remake of Home Sweet Home). The remainder being a live version of Kickstart My Heart from the Dr. Feelgood tour, Excellent covers of Tommy Bolin's "Teaser" and the Sex Pistols "Anarchy in the U.K.". And 3 unrelased songs: Angela, Primal Scream, and Rock 'n Roll Junkie. "RnR" could probably be considered a Vince Neil solo track since it appeared on the soundtrack of the movie "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" and I believe it was credited to Vince on the album even though it was written and recorded by the band. Yes, I know many favorites are omitted here (i.e. Too Young to Fall in Love, Helter Skelter, Same 'ol Situation, Without You, etc.). It's equally strange that when the "GH" album was released just a few years later, it added most of the above but DROPPED all but 1 of the bonus tracks from "Decade". Also suprising is that with their love of 70's hard rock bands the Crue never did a full-on tribute album like their metal comrades Poison, Great White, Def Leppard & Metallica did. Imagine the Crue's take on something like Deep Purple's "Highway Star", "Kickstart My Heart" almost sounds like a speeded-up version of the song anyway

This has to be one of the best "best of" cd's ever produced. Rarely can you honestly say that you like a cd from start to finish, this is one of those exceptions! Dr Feelgood and Live Wire alone are worth the effort to purchase the cd! This was rock music before the miserable grunge era. Definatley a must have!
