I had this skin for my K2 as well as my K3 now. I had the glossy on the K2 then purchased the matte finish. The matte finish adds a very rich look to the skin. I gave the glossy to my sister in law and she loved it and had no problems reusing it for her Kindle. When I purchased my K3 graphite I ordered the skin again in matte and it looks great on it. I like the skin so much I purchased the same skin for my cell phone. The quality of Decalgirl skins are excellent as well as their service. The skins do not leave residue when you remove them and if you are careful when removing they are re-useable. This is one of their darker skins which is what I like but they have so many to choose from that you are sure to find one that you like. They hold up very well. The library skin if very fitting for an e-reader. I purchased mine from Decalgirls site before Amazon had them.

I ordered this 'skin' for my new Kindle because I admit--I saw it and couldn't resist the koolness factor. I liked the artwork and thought it would give my Kindle a personalized feeling. It seems a bit high priced but I certainly do not regret buying it. The artwork is really quite neat, the product itself is well made and fits the Kindle pretty well. I advise you to take it slow when applying it (it works much like applying a screen protector) and to have patience. It took me about 15 minutes to apply both sides of mine (the front being much more 'difficult' than the back since it had a myriad of holes in place to fit over the keyboard section) but it looks quite nice. I've used my Kindle daily since I received it approximately a week ago and I have yet to see any of the skin start to peel (even on small pieces like the forward and backward page buttons). It sticks well and makes me feel comfortable about protecting the body of the Kindle from scratches. It does not, however, cover the 'edge' of the Kindle where all the buttons are. The skin is also not padded in any way so if you are looking for a padded cover I'd recommend going with something else.

Even though the price is a bit steep I would definately consider buying another of these skins when I get tired of the current print I have.

Let's be clear on this: what DecalGirl is selling is NOT a protective skin, it's a pretty sticker. I could buy the word "protective" if it had something went over the screen itself. But it doesn't even have that. Say it with me now: It's a pretty sticker. It goes on the front and back of your Kindle. God bless adding more beauty to the world, DecalGirl, but the only possible way this thing could be protective is if the Kindle owner were,say,deathly allergic to gray. So, in conclusion, if you like pretty stickers, this product's for you. If you like protecting your Kindle, you'd be better off wrapping it in a thick layer of paper towels held on with a rubber band. And I would respectfully request that the nice folks at DecalGirl quit trying to pass this off as anything more than... wait for it... A Pretty Sticker. (A fifteen-freaking-dollar pretty sticker.)
