The primary factor in buying a Skin was to create better contrast between the front rim and the screen of the Kindle Touch.
You'll be surprised how much greater the text "pops" on the screen with a dark front rim versus the current light grey.

The library design is dark enough and not to distracting.
AMZ designers could have achieved the same effect by simply extending the current dark bevel along the outer edge, to the front rim.
The Nook choose this route and that's why their screen initially looks a bit brighter.

4 stars (versus 5) for high cost.
Also, the Skin would benefit with a slightly more rubbery/tactile finish, for greater grip.

love the skin for my kindle! It is no longer boring silver. I've had several folks comment on it too. It's been on for a few months now and shows no sign of coming off.

It was a little tricky to put on, but no more so than trying to put a screen cover on a cell phone.

Definitely a good product if you want to add a little personality to your Kindle. :)
