Sammy Davis Jr.'s rich voice really comes through. His first hit, "Hey There", is backed with wonderful orchestration. His voices inter-mingles spectacularly with Carmen McRae's in the duet "There's a Small Hotel". And it's a nice treat as he sings "Because of You", in his own voice and in numerous impressions of other singers and actors. But I must say my biggest suprise was "New Yorks's My Home", a song I had never heard before but which quickly became one of my favorites. Truly one of Sammy's best albums, in his best style.
