About the Author
Unlike most authors, Stephanie Nelson didn’t dream of becoming a writer. Her interest laid in photography. It wasn’t until four years ago when she picked up her first paranormal romance book and fell in love. Books became her addiction and the local bookstore her favorite place to visit. Wow, I love when a second book is even more better then the first, its not something I get to say often!! But Deceived was just that, I loved it!!!
This book we learn a lot more about Gwens power, and there is a lot to learn. Then in walks this sexy Angel of Death who had me saying screw Aiden and lets have some fun with Dorian.lol (man I am so loyal.) Don't worry Aiden fans he is still around and we get many many fun and sexy scenes with him, but by the end of the book I think you will all by on my side and want some more Dorian action. I mean he is just this big sexy package with a bow of mystery. I am totally having a swoon moment here.
Ian is still out there but now he gaining more power and making surprise visits to Gwens dreams and these are not nice visits at all. The witches are also starting a war with vampires for the brew, but they aren't just looking to kill those using brew they plan to kill everyone they can. We spend most of the book in Moon a town filled with witches were the the Witch Council is. We also get to meet some new people, some good and some not so good but you will not learn exactly who that is until the end.
I totally love this book. It was filled with action, mystery, swoon worthy men and lots of secrets are being discovered. Stephanie Nelson created an amazing world filled with witches and vampires and it is a definite must read for anyone who loves an awesome paranormal story.

This book was amazing. I have to agree that it was better then the first. That's hard to believe because the first one was so good! I loved the new characters, especially Dorian. The book has so many twists and turns its hard to anticipate whats going to happen next, but those are the kind of book you can't help but love. Can't wait till the next one! Stephanie is an amazing writer and I am sure the next one will top even this!!!!

On my the series gets more intriguing as Stephanie Nelson continues the journey of Gwen Sparks. I don't want to let out any spoilers on the second book Deceived because you will just have to read and enjoy the roller coaster that I rode while reading it. Gwen comes to moon wanting to help but who is truly helping her. What do they want in return. What will she learn. She gave everything up family and friends for magic. What can magic give her. She learns to connect with her spirit walker-side but does she have things that may hurt her in the quest. Stephanie as captured my imagination with her series and I am really looking forward to the next book in the series Coveted. If you like vampires, witches, throw in the Angel of Death make sure you start reading the Gwen Sparks series starting with Craved, this one Deceived, and the next one hopefully due out soon Coveted.
