From the Author

Since most Christians intend to live life "in the Spirit," when we walk in the flesh, it is usually by deception. Deception, by its very nature, is hidden to the person in whom it is working. Many times God's desires for our lives are thwarted by the "serpent" in our own flesh raising up to deceive our mind, emotions and will (James 1:12-16) compelling us to walk in its way and fulfill its plans.

This book is designed to expose the hidden ways of your flesh and to set you on a course of freedom to walk in the Spirit and experience God's destiny for your life.

About the Author

Craig Hill, along with his wife Jan and their two sons, live in Morrison, Colorado, where Craig and Jan give senior leadership to Family Foundations International, the ministry through which life-changing Family Foundations seminars are conducted around the world.

God has given Craig unique insight into marriage, family, and interpersonal relationships, resulting in his ability to identify for many people the root causes of relational conflict, compulsive habits, low self-esteem, workaholism and undesirable life patterns which are repeated from one generation to the next. By interweaving personal stories with biblical truth, God has anointed Craig to pierce through the veil of the mind to minister to the depths of the heart, resulting in real life change for many.

Author of seven books and numerous teaching tapes, Craig holds a BA from Carleton College in Russian Area Studies and Geology, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

5.0 out of 5 stars This has the potential to change your life forever., December 15, 1998
This review is from: Deceived, Who Me? (Paperback)
Most people, myself included would say this is deep reading. You read a chapter (page) and have to digest it for a while. Sire shows us how we can be decieved and not know it. Of course, when we are decieved WE DON'T KNOW IT.This book sure showed me areas in my life that needed a touch from God. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about his/her Christian life, especially Christian leaders who sometimes can be the most decieved of all.

5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant, yet readable teaching on Self-Image/Esteem., October 18, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Deceived, Who Me? (Paperback)
Craig's understanding of the formation of Self-image (as well as images of "God" and others, has come from years of One-on-one counseling. This book helped me, the child of a dysfunctional family, to gain insight into my warped views of myself and others resulting in my ultimate freedom to be MYSELF! As a counselor, I personally endorse this book as FOUNDATIONAL reading for anyone who is confused about life or is in the demanding profession of personal counseling, or simply has the desire to minister LIFE-CHANGING TRUTH to others.

This review is from: Deceived, Who Me? (Paperback)
The Truth is something that everyone wants to hear, but not everyone can handle it. The book contains the truth that we really need to hear. Thank God for this great book written in simplicity and clarity, and for teaching us the indispensable lessons of life.
