Dwayne Vernon has done it again; his sequal to My Man, My Boyz; Deception, Lies and Truth, moves fast and rapid. The book starts you off like you're just gettin on a roller coaster, where the climb is steep, and a fall that dip and curve sharply with frequent abrupt and unpredictable changes; it'll be over before you know. You may not scream, but you'll be glad you took the ride/read. Exciting and exihilarating. The 3rd sequal should be a blast!

"THE BOYZ" have a love for one another that is undeniable. D. Vernon is taking you on a journey that any of us can see as our own. True love, true friendships and acceptance is something that we all want and the characters in this book show and teach you what it takes to accomplish that. Follow their lead. Deception, Lies & Truth delivers a story that will have you up at 3am because you will be caught-up in the moment...and every word is a moment!

I must admit I was a little apprehensive to read this book when my sister passed it on to me because I had never heard of book author Dwayne Vernon. But, boy am I glad I gave him a chance! I could not put this book down, I finished most of it in one night. Dwayne Vernon is a very creative and talented writer. You experience every emotion right along with the characters. This book is about betrayal, lust, true friendship, family, and love and if you are a fan of those types of stories BUY THIS BOOK, you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to purchase the sequel, I hope it's available on the Kindle!

A gay love story with a few twists and turns. This is the second book in the series. I recommend buying "My Man, My Boyz" first. It is an excellent read. This is one of the best love stories I have ever read. He really brings the characters to life. You will fall in love with each character and you feel as if you are a part of the story and the characters are your friends. I also passed the book along to a coworker who also enjoyed it and both us cannot wait for book #3. I think he is a very good author and I recommend getting both books.

This was a very enjoyable touchy "feely" kind of book. lol. I liked the messages about friendship and forgiveness. I also enjoyed the suspense which helped make the book a page-turner. My only complaints are that the book was poorly edited and also the book ended with some unanswered questions regarding a couple of the characters. I'll be looking for the sequel.

What can I say Dwayne Vernon. Once again you took me on a roller coaster ride. I truly enjoyed this book. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

I am your number one fan and I am anxiously awaiting your next novel.

This is Mr. Vernon's sequel to My Man My Boyz and I have had the opportunity to read not only the manuscript of Deception, Lies & Truth but also the book when it released and I have to give Dwayne his props for yet another moving and enjoyable read. There is something about true friendships between "Gay Brothas" that I so admire and wish even for myself. In this world of hate, jealousy and tit for tat, Mr. Vernon brings back a group of gay brothas that has nothing but love and support for one another. Thank you Mr. Vernon for reminding us that we can get along and that we can also be each other's family. I patiently await your next masterpiece!!!

It was great. I was reading it at every red light. I just love the group of characters in this series, true friendship and unconditional love (except those two gold diggers).

When you read this book you aren't going to want to put it down. This is definately a MUST read!!! If you don't have it might I suggest you pick up a copy not just for yourself but a friend or 2.

Another great book by a truly gifted writer. You must read "My Man, My Boyz," to become acquainted with the characters. Then read this book, "Deception, Lies & Truth." You will be drawn into the lives of the characters. This book leaves you wanting more! If you are an E. Lynn Harris, James Patterson, Fern Michaels, Walter Mosley, or Parry "Ebony Satin" Brown fan, you will enjoy this book. Don't get it twisted, Dwayne Vernon definitely has a style "all his own." He is an original! You will not regret purchasing this book.
