5.0 out of 5 stars great read
It was a great historical set in the regency period. The characters were very well drawn and sympathetic. There was a lot going on, not just a hero and heroine sighing over each other. I particularly liked the twist at the end. It surprised me. I hope she writes more.

2.0 out of 5 stars Inadequate at best.
This is obviously the author's first attempt at a historical romance. The conversations are unsatisfactory. So are the love scenes. As always, McWilliams has created characters who are real, and whom you'd like to know better. Her droll sense of humour may be her best attribute. Her dialogue is smooth, but snappy. Her command of the Regency period is top notch. Definitely, a good read.
