Review
After her broken engagement, Summer, a very wealthy young woman with a promising future, is done with love. She meets Chris while out for a night on the town and their friendship quickly evolves to be much more. Chris brings baggage to the relationship in the form of his best friend's girl, who is obsessed with him. Summer has problems of her own: a dysfunctional family and the kidnapping of her mother. These issues reveal more mysteries, but not whose is responsible for her mother's death. Will Chris, with all his problems, be the support system Summer needs at such a crucial point in her life? DECEPTION AT ITS BEST is filled with murder, mayhem and relationship drama. The debut novel of author Nea is a solid and entertaining read. With the exception of one four-letter word she misspelled throughout the whole novel, there were only a few minor flaws. The author's style of storytelling kept me engaged in the novel until the end. I would recommend this book to others and will read more from this author.
