Minor's done an outstanding job. It is a must read not only for those thinking to exit their business, but those who are just starting one. The book is concise, tight and to the point...without the tired legal mumbo-gumbo. The author covers every aspect of preparing a business for sale and provides an insider's view of how to get it done. No one should start or sell a business before reading this book. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Every businessman should read this book, December 12, 2009
This review is from: Deciding to Sell Your Business: The Key to Wealth and Freedom (Paperback)
I wish my father had read this book. The author is a lawyer specialized in selling businesses, and he knows what he's talking about. Yet the book is clear and well organized in 8 parts:
PART 1: Personal and emotional issues.
PART 2: Strategic decisions.
PART 3: All about buyers.
PART 4: Assembling your advisory dream team.
PART 5: Valuation and deal structure.
PART 6: The sale process.
PART 7: Critical Legal Issues.
PART 8: Former owners reflect on wealth and freedom.
Conclusion
Appendices
I recommend this book to every business owner, as well as accountants and business lawyers.
