About the Author
Arthur Schleifer, Jr. is the James J. Hill Professor of Business Administration, emeritus, at Harvard Business School, where he taught Managerial Economics and related subjects for thirty-four years. He has done extensive research and course development in forecasting and decision analysis. He has consulted and continues to consult in the computer, retail, tire, wire, and .com industries.
He is an avid tennis player and scuba diver, and enjoys photography and computer enhancement of photographs. His wife, Yvette, is a concert pianist. They have three grown children.
