5.0 out of 5 stars Wow Wow Wow, March 8, 2007
This review is from: Decisions (Paperback)
It's a good thing this is under 300pages cause I could not put it down. This book just pops right from the first page and then spirals into amazing situations. After loving his first novel I was syked up for this and I am further impressed. The same style of narration was there and it's something about how this book derives around hell yet makes it seem like it's normal everyday life. The real trials of freindship love and trust are tested on every page while being sprinkled with some intense fight sequencies, and supernatural circumstanses. It's an interesting take on how life would be if angels of hell really did walk around with us and how nothing is as it seems. Evil can actually be good in this type of novel. Self published but worth all five stars. A must read for people just looking for something different. I also recomand his first novel Destiny, the George R. R. Martin series, the Agatha Christie mysteries and The dark eye by Ingrid Black.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, February 25, 2007
This review is from: Decisions (Paperback)
This is an iteresting book. One of those that you know is fiction but you cant help but wonder if it's real. After being thrown into the world of JaiSon, the son of Satan, and his girlfriend Tosha, good christian girl, you loose yourself. You close the book and almost wonder could I really be walking in this supernatural realm daily and just not know. This may have been a three and a half or four, but close to the end there was something shocking. I won't reveal it but it made me pick up the first book and flip to a certain section to see if I was loosing my mind. It was just brilliant. Rolanda, well every book needs it's comic relief and boy did she make me laugh especially her unique relationship with JaiSon's best friend Joshua. Self published but definitly an I couldn't put this down kind of novel. I also recomend this authors first novel destiny, The Narnia series, Yeah I Said it by Wanda Sykes, the Artemis Fowl series and all the Geroge R. R. Martin novels.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting, February 25, 2007
This review is from: Decisions (Paperback)
This book was exciting. I happened upon this book by accident, it was on a friends coffee table and I dont regret it. Don't usually read self published titles but I couldn't put this one down. I especially like Joshua, and the way he cares for his best friend,Jaison the main character. Their devotion is inspiring espicially when Jaison was with in an inch of his life and Joshua had to carry him through the taverns of the underworld on his back. Plus the way he looks out for his eleven other siblings. Inspiring. I espicially love his initiation into his girlfriend rolanda's 'Family' which happens right after JaiSon's fight in the Lava Cave. I am definetly going to read his first book, Destiny. I also recomand the His Dark Materials triology by Philip Pullman, Wicked by Gregory Meguire, and any of the Agatha Christie mysteries.

4.0 out of 5 stars Loved It, February 25, 2007
This review is from: Decisions (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this book. Especially the contrast of a girl raised to believe in god falling for a man from the oposite world. Though there is a lot of supernatual dealings in the book it is interwoven in a way that it seems like this could actually happen in the real world. I found myself falling in love with the main character and rooting for him and Tosha his girlfriend to survive the madness of hell. All I can say is JaiSon, though the son of satan, is my anti-hero. Especially in that fight scene in hell. Amazing. This can be considered a love story but with all the firey action, I just couldn't put it down until it came to a quite unsuspected end. I also recomend, The Dark Eye by Ingrid Black, Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini, and Destiny this authors first novel
