5.0 out of 5 stars If you like Wayman, you'll love this album!!, August 3, 1999
By A Customer

This album takes you on a journey. It is something you can pop in the CD player and let it spin and give you pleasant grooves for a candle light dinner, a lazy Sunday afternoon mellow mix, or just quiet time for yourself. It's all of that and more ... It's one of those albums that helps you to be creative and imaginative. Wayman takes you away to other places through the music ... and that's what I've come to expect from him ... a journey to another place.

5.0 out of 5 stars Folks, this man is for real!, March 10, 2003

The former NBA star's transition from basketball to music is as smooth as the material on this record. With "Decisions," Wayman proves that he definitely has what it takes to thrive in the music business. Much of the material on this album is more smooth jazz than what was whipped up on "Power Forward" and "In the Zone," which had more R&B and fusion flavors. There are even some Latin American grooves in track 4.

For those of you who think ball players can't play music (yes, Shaquille O'Neal's attempt at rap was embarrassing for us all), give "Decisions" a spin. It is an excellent album and would be a perfect way to set the mood for a romantic evening with your loved one. A must-have for any fan of contemporary jazz.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whoa! Basketball should have come second..., August 29, 2001

Being a bit of a music snob, I found myself viewing this album with immense sketicism. 'Ball players can't play music. He's just trying to get over on his name.' I couldn't have been more wrong with Tisdale's Decisions. The selections go from sultry, to soulful, to soothing, to downright sexy. He never lets up on the listener, changing genre within the jazz arena like a music chameleon. This is without a doubt one of the best 20 jazz albums I've ever consumed aurally. Highly recommended - should be a part of any try afficianado's collection!
