These Firestorm 24 volt tools are amazing. I bought these because they were inexpensive and I had an immediate need for them. The drill/driver is easily as good as my Makita. The circular saw works well within its size limitations. The only down side is that the original 2 batteries needed to be charged often. I purchased 2 new higher amperage batteries that are available for these tools.

I bought these tools for my son as a beginner set. He is just getting started as a DIYer, and I thought these tools would be good to get him started. They have exceeded all of my expectations, and are no longer considered just a beginner set. I have owned a number of Black and Decker tools through the years and they have always worked well. I have worn out a couple, but not until long after they had paid for themselves. As an experienced DIYer, I am very pleased with the build, functionality and power of these tools. I also purchased a couple of extra batteries so that if my son is working on a larger project, he will not have any downtime because the batteries ran low. All in all, these are excellent tools that will serve him well for many years.

First off, this set also comes with: (1)jigsaw blade (general wood purpose)(2) recip saw blades (1 for metal and 1 for wood) and a 7 1/4 inch circ saw blade (18 tooth tungsten-carbide). The product description mentioned the circ saw was 6 1/2 but it's def a 7 1/4 blade that comes with it. All of the tools have a very sturdy feel to them and the batteries lock into place as if they were one with the tool. Getting all of the tools into the included carry bag takes some planning but it can definitely be done. The bag itself has a rugged heavy-duty build to it just like the tools. So far this set has exceeded every expectation I had for it.
