The fireplace’s heavy-duty steel base both supports its weight and resists the heat from burning logs and coals. A hammered copper bowl and top provide an artisan touch for outdoor décor. For outdoor cooking, a porcelain-coated cooking grate accompanies the fireplace. A log grate is also provided to enhance safety while assisting with cleaning the fireplace. Three steel legs support the fireplace. While the elevation reduces the risk of grass fires, close fire supervision is always advisable. Some assembly is required. We love the look of our new Copper Fireplace, and we have already spent several chilly evenings outside enjoying the warmth and crackling noise of the fire. It was on back order when we ordered it but we received it much sooner than promised; we did have a problem with the door not wanting to open all the way to put firewood in; I called the company, talked to a very nice, pleasant, real live person, who immediately offered to send out a replacement piece, which arrived within a week. I am very pleased with the product and the company.

I bought this copper fireplace as a special gift for my husband as a momento of a lovely trip to Taos. He loves it. We have never spent so many nights in the front lawn staring at the stars and enjoying one another's company. Friends and neighbors stop by to share in the warmth from the fire. We're buying one for his parents so they can put it by their swimming pool.
One thing though, we've used it so often and we had a few days of rain so the finish has changed a bit. Doesn't change the ambience though.

My parents, unbeknownst to us, had been eyeing Chimeneas and not finding any they wanted to put on their new back porch. When this arrived on their stoop a couple of days before Christmas they were giddy. It assembled easily and looks absolutely fantastic. It's a nice size and also feels much safer than those fire bowls. It really put out a good deal of heat. We are all so happy with it. The only complaint is a small dent in the copper hood, but that should hammer out with a hit or two. A great deal with the free shipping!
