A cross between alternative praise and the traditional Brooklyn Tabernacle orchestra sound we've enjoyed over the years. There's something here for everybody. My favorite song, "I'll Sing of Your Love" is a great collaboration between Israel Houghton and the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Guys, this is a song you'll want to play over and over again! I did. The words are powerful; the tempo is lively. You'll want to celebrate the Lord's grace, mercy and faithfulness here. "I'll Sing.." has instrumental elements at the beginning that sound similar to Israel's "Friend of God." The rest of the album has other songs that you will definitely get up and dance to: "It All Belongs To You," "Where Can I Go," "Coming Back" and the album title track, "Declare Your Name." With that said, I must declare, "This is an awesome album!"

I cannot even put into words how great this CD is! Filled with praise music to glorify God! If you love TRUE praise and worship music, this CD is a MUST have! I am giving these CD's out as Christmas gifts to all my family & friends! I've been attending the Brooklyn Tabernacle for the past year, and we sing all of these songs during the praise and worship... if I had to pick a favorite, which is hard because I LOVE all of them... I love "It All Belongs to You," "Made to Live For You," "I Love You," and "New Jerusalem." May God be glorified!

Definitley purchase this cd its awesome and filled with God gloryfying lyrics. One of their best ever.

This CD is the best yet of all the Tabernacle CDs no counting the Best of the Tabernacle CD. The songs are thought provoking and mindful of our Lord. I use it daily as a relaxation tool, and as a prayer guide.

I had the blessed opportunity to hear the Brooklyn Tabernacle choir perform the entire "Declare your name" album live, 3 weeks before it's actual release date. It was such a worshipful time. The words are so full of praise to God. When you look at the choir, their faces look up with joy and wonder as they sang songs of worship! The music is easy to sing-along too. The words are deep in scripture and Christ focused. I love the upbeat tempo with the BTC sound. It will reach a much broader listener base (hopefully young people). My favorite song is "New Jerusalem" with Taranda Greene -wow, the last 1;30 minute of song...crescendo's to this incredible high...you feel like jumping up and down in joy for heaven! Taranda rocks it off the charts!! Immediatly after is the song "Helpless." It's an acoustic, melancholy song of surrender. It's tender notes and words are so tender and vulnerable, yet quietly powerful. Upbeat songs like: "I'll sing of your love," "In everything we give thanks" and "Declare your name," makes you want to lift your hands in praise and joyful worship.

It is so Christ focused...it will bring you to the throne in gratitude, joy and worship. Make this an amazing worship experience for you, family, friends and church. Go get it!!

I love this CD! A friend gave it to us because she was looking for more of a full gospel sound. For me this album is awesome. Every song is powerful. I especially love #8 "With everything, I give thanks to You Lord!", it's such a joyful song - I can't wait to do it in church. I also love the song "Oh the Cross", I love songs that focus on the cross and the power of Calvary. I wasn't surprised to see Israel on the CD..he is pretty much on every major Christian artists CD. In the end, this CD will bless you. Every CD is especially meaningful when you look at the behind the scenes of the church and Pastor Cymbala's story. I would also recommend the book "Fresh Wind Fresh Fire." God Bless!

This is another great album by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. I loved all of the songs. Some were traditional others were cutting edge but all well presented.

This album is so very inspiring and uplifting. I don't see how anyone could be in the doledrums after listening to this album.

WOW! The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir Sound like a choir of angels singing. Each Cd that is produced by this choir is superb and sets the stage for praise and worship. I have purchased several different CDs by the Tabernacle Choir and LOVE them ALL! Thank you choir! And thank you Amazon.com.

I have enjoyed every BTC CD I have purchased and/or heard. Why? (Glad you asked.) The song lyrics are always Biblically-based! That is so important. The articulation of every word is discernible. That, too, is important to me. I do not just want isolated harmony, or isolated rhythm. I want to know what is being song. The soloists are great. They use their voices to glorify God and not to "show off." The BTC makes all that available!
