5.0 out of 5 stars pretty much perfect, March 18, 2005
By
I've been listening to this album a lot lately, and it holds up really well more than 10 years after it was made. The production is crisp and punchy, and the tunes are full of great hooks. The lyrics mostly deal with heartbreak and loss in a non-cliched way, and are refreshingly lacking in indie pop pretentiousness. Every single track is a standout, except for the odd album closer, "She and Me," which is more like an afterthought and doesn't really belong to the album as such. I never get tired of listening to these tracks, and in fact the only thing wrong with this album is that it isn't long enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best pop cd ever, August 29, 1999

I was lucky enough to see Heavenly on their last US tour and over the years purchased every cd they put out. This is the best, nothing else to say...buy it and be extra happy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy it buy it!, January 14, 2001
"Sacramento" is one of the best instrumental tunes EVER! The rest of the album is good, but it's worth the price for Sacramento alone!
