More About the Author

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit". Aristotle

I would change that to say "Happiness is not an act, but a habit". Choose to be happy. Do it on a daily basis, in small things and details. Be the owner of your time and you'll be the owner of your life.

That's what my books are all about. I provide action plans for you to get rid of stress, get things done, remove clutter from your life and find internal peace.

A few years ago the stress I was suffering at the workplace made me touch bottom. I decided to turn my life upside down for good.
Decluttering, systematizing and simplifying are my new rules. I apply them to all areas of life: my house, my business, etc. That's how I know my systems work because I use them before I share them.

Let me start by saying my house is ALWAYS extremely messy. It's gotten to a point where it's almost embarrassing to invite people over. To tell you the truth, before I bought this book I thought that Feng Shui was a bunch of BS - but this book really opened my mind and after implementing the tips my house is looking better already! Thanks so much!

This book was wonderful, easy and informative. Since I wasn't familiar with Feng Shui I wasn't sure what to expect from this guide. I took the plunge, bought the book and I don't regret it. It's a very nice read. It's about decluttering and decorating from a very fresh perspective.

We are planning to move to another house and I bought this book to help us arrange the interior along with the thought of attracting positive energy for the entire household. The tips in the book are clear, specifying which elemental color or arrangement matter for a particular part of the house's interior.

This was a very informative read and gave some pretty good tips on not only how to declutter, but how to utilize feng shui. Let me say, feng shui is very, very interesting and for some reason just makes complete sense! I learned a lot of good feng shui concepts for my apartment and my office (and will be buying some plants tomorrow)!

Julia Green has written a short book on how to decorate and organize your home with Feng Shui principles. I'm lucky to have just moved into a house that seems to have been built with these principles in mind. I now have a separate office and bedroom and have noticed that I'm sleeping better. So I can say this is good advice based on my own experience. Basically this book encourages you to get rid of clutter and to paint rooms various colors. I was pleased to know that a light yellow paint is recommended for the living room. Our house has different colors in each room and the living room and kitchen just happen to have been painted a lovely shade of yellow. This book will also tell you how to place mirrors around your home and how to arrange furniture for the best energy flow. This is an excellent book to read if you are moving and want a fresh start.

I try to focus on having a fun, healthy lifestyle that contributes to my happiness and the happiness of others. The information in this book can also enrich the lives of those who read it. It can help you get organized while it teaches you about the theories and principles of Feng Shui.

I'll admit that I previously knew very little about Feng Shui. This book has taught me about its benefits. It has also given me great ideas to help me declutter, get organized and stay organized.

Good

The book is very educational with lots of useful, practical information.
It can also be useful for reference.

Bad

Some people may not agree with some of the principles related to Feng Shui.

Overall, this is a great book for anyone who wants to be more organized, while receiving an education about the principles of Feng Shui.

I am looking forward to reading it again.

Seriously? Nothing feng shui about this book. Basically, the author tells you to pick up your crap. She clearlly used feng shui as a 'hook' to generate interest in her ridiculous attempt of a book. I mean seriously - from an organization and decluttering perspective - there wasn't a single trip or tip or technique. Simply "go room by room and clear out your crap". Gee, that's so insightlful! Yes, clutter is a block for the flow of chi, but there's nothing in here that uses feng shui to declutter, I was admittedly curious about the title - how in the world would one use the flow of energy to declutter? The title alone indicates a lack of comprehension about feng shui, let alone causation.

A basic explanation of Feng Shui. Most of it common sense on how to apply these principles to your every day life.
