It also goes on quite streaky.

Used this marker for a project with my daughter it worked perfectly out of the box and so far the markings have stayed on the glass piece.

This time I tried again, thinking maybe I had just done something wrong.

Works as described. I've run my glass through the dishwasher a dozen time by now and there's no sign of it coming off.

I bought this pen for a craft project. I planned to use it to write some words on a ceramic travel mug. The paint flowed very well and covered perfectly. I cured it per the instructions (I am a ceramist - that means I have an advanced materials engineering degree, with a focus in ceramics), and I'm an amateur potter. So, on two counts I should've been able to get this right. I was a bit concerned about using this pen on a previously glazed surface, but the reviews were generally great, and the product specifically indicated it could be used on glazed surfaces.

Fast forward (not much)... 3 washings, by hand, no abrasives or "scrubby" sponges... my friend told me more than half of the writing is gone. Not faded, gone.

Fast forward again... 2 more washings, again by hand, and all the writing is gone. Poof!

Well, at least she likes the mug.

I would not recommend this pen for anyone who is doing a project unless:
1) the object will not be washed after curing
2) you paint on an unglazed surface. ** I'm still not sure how it would wear, but it would likely (have to!) last longer than on a glazed surface
3) you apply a clear glaze over the paint after curing, if you are planning to wash the item

Paint just chipped off even after baking them. Yes I followed the instructions to a T. I would go with the sharpie oil based paint pens. Even though you can't bake it it will stay alooong time.

Was a bit worried about this purchase, since I was writing on wine goblets for a wedding. I worked out well

Hooray, I now have a way in which I can claim all of the dishes in my house, whether they are mine or otherwise. Just write it on, stick it in the oven and you have got yourself a newly possessed item in which no roommate or exorcism can remove.

My son and I made mugs for my husband for Valentine's Day. We both put a lot of time into our designs, drew them onto mugs and followed the directions for "baking" the paint into the mugs. We never put the mugs in the dishwasher just to be safe. Instead, I hand-washed the mugs. The FIRST hand-washing with soap, water and a soft sponge and all of the paint started to smear and slide off. Such a bummer! All in all between the market and the mugs, this was a $25 fail.

Save your money!

Used these pens on a glass project but had to apply a few coats for it to show up non-translucent. The tip was kinda thick but it was rather easy to use but not the best i've tried.
