A decent read
This is a decent book to supplement your kanji learning. There are probably better texts out there, but the price was right, and it's pretty fair for what it is.

An overview of why kanji (and chinese characters) are so difficult to remember
Good book with some helpful information. It helps if you have an understanding of Japanese sounds and basics before looking at this.
