I really like this stuff! I've covered almost every paperback book I own with clear contact paper. I used to watch librarians cover books when I was younger, and I remembered how, and covered my own. You just measure and cut, peel off the backing, and carefully place the book on the sticky side (smoothing out any bubbles), and fit, and cut, and voila! You've got a covered book! (It makes the paperback last longer, too, I've discovered).

This is great for covering paperback books. I've used it to cover almost my entire classroom library of books. My third graders do their best to take care of the books, but between their backpacks and desks paperback books take a beating. I ordered a dozen rolls and I'm ready to order a dozen more. Each roll covered about 14 average size paperback books.

I bought this for the purpose of protecting my granite countertops from everyday spills and stains (no worries). Perfect choice because the paper is clear and extremely easy to cut to size. Simply peel back a few inches of the paper, position and press that down. Put a weight on this portion and then unroll by the foot and press down in sections. Buy two per each 8' X3' (or so) counters. Always buy from ANTOnline because they are super customer oriented and ship inexpensively. They care!!! I am going to buy two more rolls now (I was skeptical and only purchased two the first time). There is a light "tack" on the paper that does not effect the granite surface at all. So just take the paper up when you want to and have more on hand when you need it.

Believe it or not, I bought this contact paper because I was having trouble keeping my cat off the counter. A friend told me to get some clear contact paper and tape it down with double-sided tape. So far, it has worked wonders. I was also really pleased that after my purchase I received an e-mail from the company asking about my satisfaction. It seems they have really great customer service, I would highly recommend this product.

I started using this clear contact paper in college. I carried my books everywhere, so I covered them with this! It's easy to put on once you get the hang of it. In case you make mistakes positioning it, you can reposition it after it's touched your book. It protected my paperback textbooks while I rammed them in and out of my backpack, threw them down on sticky tables during lunch, and kept the covers from wrinkling when I walked in the rain!
I highly recommend this product for students and teachers. You could easily find many uses for it (like covering folders for more permanent use!).

high quality, mistakes were easy to fix b/c i could peel and reapply

I bought this to cover computer, xbox, Nintendo and music cds with it. I put it on the cd's then carefully get out all the bubbles and trim with xacto knife. Then if the game gets scratched I carefully pull off the clear contact paper and re-apply it.It keeps the cd safe from scratches.

Because I have an aquarium and I don't like the backdrops folks have for sale, I am using the clear contact paper to cut out the places where I will acid etch the glass. I can then colour back into the frosted areas and when the whole is finished, I will cover the completed work with another layer of the clear contact paper to protect it. I had been looking for clear contact paper for months and found just what I needed in this product.

I use it to cover my textbooks. It's a great product because after applying it to my books, I can still unpeel he contact paper from my books to re-angle the paper to remove wrinkles or air-bubbles. Helps my books last longer so I can resell them. Cool thing is that it is MADE IN USA and have square grids printed on the paper to help you cut and what not !
