I get coloring books for all sorts of images, let's just say this one doesn't disappoint. Lots of detail work for glitter.

Wow - I am very pleased with the details of these designs. They offer a challenge for an adult but are not too much for younger folks either. This is a great purchase for anyone who enjoys to color!

I choose this coloring book for my sister who has visited Thailand. I was really impressed with the varied designs in the book and plan to purchase one for myself as well. The pictures are beautifully detailed and the coloring possibilites are only limited to your imagination. I am familiar with Thai culture and the pictures are very authentic. I would have loved to "look inside" this book prior to purcashing it, I wish all the books had that capability. I know my sister will be thrilled, I'm excited to give it to her.

BEAUTIFUL! Not just for older or artistic kids,

As a young kid with an artistic bent I was sometimes intimidated by sophisticated coloring books - if the art was better than I could do by hand at the time I'd be reluctant to "ruin it" by coloring it sloppily or "incorrectly". Now that I'm a parent I'm trying to make sure my girl knows art is for enjoyment and enrichment, not a task to be completely "correctly". So we don't save the fancy coloring books, we color them. She often just goes over them with one or 2 colors of block crayon, and in doing so looks deeply at, enjoys and appreciates the art work. Older artistic kids could have a good time colorizing these beautiful drawings, but they are also wonderful for art appreciation in littler kids. We use them as part of our home-school curriculum, as a fun & playful way to briefly immerse ourselves in the artistic spirit of various peoples. Let your kids "ruin" them, read along with them, look up the mythological characters online as they do, and enjoy.
