I had no problem using this to fold napkins for Thanksgiving. I did the cardinal's hat (on the cover) and the one that makes a pocket for slipping the silverware into. They came out great and added a lot to the table setting. Small book, maybe 25 different folds -- more than enough for me.

I bought this book many years ago and I still use it today.

(I'm the kind of learner that needs a how-to book on napkin folding.I can't just look at a napkin and do it)

So,if you need a book with great step-by-step instructions on napkin folding, then this book is the book for you.

PS: Plz note that this book was written in the 1980's. The photos are mostly in black and white.

With modern printing and stuff, to receive a book like this with black and white photos and paper that feels, well, lower end, was very disappointing. I didn't expect each instruction photo in color, but the finished product certainly should have been.

I showed this book to a crafting friend, without telling her my opinion, and she said exactly the same thing, how disappointing it wasn't in color.

The ideas are nice, but honestly, I could have looked up any of these styles on the internet. I was hoping for something a little different, and definitely a lot better quality.

I love to entertain and this gave me easy napkin folding ideas for each event I have.

I received my book in excellent condition and just love it! Thank you so very much.

I bought this book because I was trying to get ideas for my book, Unique DIY Centerpiece Ideas with Wheat Grass and I knew how important the napkins were to complete a table setting and enhance the centerpiece. I found the directions were very clear and easy to understand. I hope later to try out some of the many ideas for napkin folding when I entertain. There were many napkin folding ideas for animals which might be cute to try with my granddaughter. A table of contents would have made the book better.Unique DIY Centerpiece Ideas with Wheat Grass

Purchased this as a gift item for my neice who is 8. She was curious as to how a napkin was folded one time at a restaurant. Thought she would enjoy learning different techniques. Gave this book and a package of cloth napkins to her.

Ce livre est très bien fait. Il a 22 figures. J'ai beaucoup aimé: rabbit, swan, boat with sails, laddy's slipper. Il a des photographies en noir et blanc et un peu en couleurs. Les autres figures sont: heart, nest, candle, clown's hat, place card holder, boat, silverware holder, cockscomb, love knot, flower holder, japanese kimono, ascot, peacock, cardinal's hat, dutch hat, african bird, fan et butterfly.
