As the stylist for many of the photographs that make Decorative Hardware a thing of beauty, I have to say that I learned an astonishing amount about the history of hardware while working on this book with photographer Philip Clayton-Thompson and the owner of L.A.'s famed Liz's Antique Hardware - Liz Gordon, and store manager/writer Terri Hartman. I can no longer look at doors, windows or furnishings without noticing the hardware, its era, its patina, or wondering about its history. What a joy this book is to have and to give. Thanks, Liz!

this book is both practical and beautiful. full of useful,specific info plus great photos. good reference book for designers,architects, contractors and homeowners. nicely done.
