Just installed this, and I am thrilled with the results. We live on the 3rd floor of a highrise and had a thin fabric shade over our Master Bath window. One night while walking our dogs, my husband decided to check the view into our bathroom at night with the lights on and our thin shade down. Well. we were giving all a show. I wanred something to give us privacy without blocking the lighy and found this prosucy.

My husband is not a handyman, but he installed this and it looks great! You will need the installation kit http://www.amazon.com/Gila-Complete-Window-Film-Application/dp/B000KWWTU2/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_b to install it properly. I did not order this, and we got one at Home Depot for $7-8 (it is more on Amazon). Kit has an adhesive spray that goes on wet so you can move the film around during install. Dries clear. Install kit also has a squeegee and exacto knife.

Here is install process:
1. Clean window with adhesive spray.
2. Cut close to size needed. We used scissors.
3. Wet window with spray. Peel off backing on the film and spray installation side with adhesive spray.
4. Put film up to window and slide to align corners.
5. Squeegee excess liquid with kit's squeegee.
6. Trim any excess with kit exacto knife.
7. Final squegee to make sure it is all stuck.

Note: The adhesive is not sticky. It is more like a wet, waterlike chemical.

Love this product! It was delivered promptly and easy to apply, giving me the privacy I was looking for.
