If you have ever dropped your chain to the inside, you need this. Period. My only complaint - there is zero documentation. None. So, which way does the little fang point? How close is it supposed to be to the chain? How high/low in relation to the chainring? No idea. I had to spend 20 minutes with google to find the answer (and it was not on Deda's site).

Had a recurring problem of dechaining during shifts to the front small chain ring. Adjustment didn't help much. Decided to try the Dog Fang for a long ride where a dechain would have been a hassle. Very light and easy to install. Sure enough, as careful as I was, the bike tried to dechain at an inopportune time. The Dog Fang kept the chain from slipping off, and a quick backpedal and it was back in place with no lost time and no greasy fingers. Great simple product and idea, thanks.
