You buy it to sing your baby to sleep, and end up playing it for yourself. Old classic hits, Queen, Mamas and the Papas, the Ronettes; sung in the most peaceful soothing tone of voice. An extremely relaxing and beautiful album, that's sure to please anyone. Ages 1 day-100 years!

I heard this CD at someone's house while we were having dinner, and I thought it was just magical. Hard to find in the stores, but finally found a copy and I play it frequently at work while I'm on the computer. Never a big fan of Linda Ronstadt, but this one won me over! A great CD for Boomers - and, as someone has already said, very romantic! Not just for babies!

...changes the way you will hear them if you ever hear them as they were originally recorded, and to me that is a change for the better! The words take on a whole new emotional meaning when you hear them and sing them to your real baby. Lovely and soothing ambient music that you will enjoy and will help baby to sleep. I also found it is nice to use certain tunes as background for baby videos. Linda's singing is angelic and enchanting.

This CD, along with Connie Kaldor's "Lullabies Bercuse" and Nicolette Larson's (can't remember name just now) are my 3 favorite lullaby CD's.

When my 4 year old daughter was a baby, I used to sing "Be my Baby..." to her. Although it was a "Do-Wop" love song from the 50's, I always thought the words could apply to a baby. I was so excited when I found this CD on Amazon. I ordered it right away. The first time I listened to it, I know had my newborn 5 month old daughter in my arms and the words to the songs actually brought tears to my eyes! This CD is done better than any other childrens CD I have ever heard. Linda Ronstadt's voice is absolutely angelic! I have now purchased the CD for a friend who just had a baby, and now my mother will be ordering the CD for herself! It's a must have!

I have a 2 month old son who has done almost nothing but cry and scream, due to being colicky. After I got the CD, I popped it into the CD Player in his room and we listened to it. I had tears in my eyes and he started smiling! We listened to the whole CD and he never stopped throughout. Recently I have bought another CD with the sound of a heartbeat in the background, that was supposedly clinically proven to stop babies from crying. It didn't work at all. I had already given up hope, until we listened to this CD. Thank you, thank you, thank you Linda!!I find this CD to be very soothing for both adults and children!

We love this CD. My daughter has gone to sleep listening to this every night for at least 2 years. It is soothing, relaxing and we love it. It's part of our lives and her nighttime rituals. I know she will always remember these songs! A GREAT baby gift! Also great romantic music!

This joyous CD is a collection of lullabies for babies. Linda Ronstadt's beautifully melodic voice is just perfect for this, producing eleven great lullabies with just the right sound. What makes this CD most interesting is that most of the tunes are rock-and-roll classics, which have been beautifully redone.

Overall I thought this is a wonderful CD, soothing and beautifully done with great singing and instrumental backup. The only song that didn't translate well was We Are the Champions, which is the only "off" song on this whole album. But, other than that this CD is great!

Singing old, familiar songs as lullabies was something that my wife and I both did, and this album raises it to an art form. As a matter of fact, the CD paperwork contains the words to the songs, which means that you can learn to sing along, while you rock your little one to sleep. This is a great CD, a great gift for any new parents.

This CD is my favorite baby gift. My toddlers have fallen to sleep listening to this CD since they were born. The best part is Mommy and Daddy can enjoy it too! It's a wonderful collection of songs (which is good since I've had to listen to it probably a hundred times). Linda never wears out her appeal.

We have used this CD nearly every night for the past 14 months in our son's bedtime routine. He knows these songs mean "sleepy time", and they never fail to calm him.

Even though I've heard this whole CD over 400 times now, I'm still not sick of it. I think that means a lot!

This is a charming collection of mostly 60's songs, set to a slower pace and sung with a charming falsetto by Linda Ronstadt. There are new versions of songs by the Beach Boys and the Ronettes, plus a great version of the classic 'Angel Baby'. The only glaring oddity is a slow version of Queen's 'We Will Rock You' which doesn't seem to belong. The rest is absolutely lovely, and you will never tire of playing this cd over and over for your child.
