5.0 out of 5 stars Aristotelian Economics vs Economic Rationalism?, September 26, 2011

This review is from: Deductive Irrationality: A Commonsense Critique of Economic Rationalism (Paperback)
This book, a critique of the current orthodoxy in the social science called Economics, moves in the direction of but does not formally elucidate a way of interpreting economics that might be called Aristotelian - a fully conscious form of the common-sense understanding of things economic. It grows out of the teaching on political philosophy and economics by Dr.Richard W.Staveley among his Australian students from about the late 1960's till his death in 2001.
