4.0 out of 5 stars Great Aussie sound, January 19, 2000

A great album that fully captures the haunting beauty of Tropical Qeensland on the Sunshine Coast. First heard this group at a Saturday Market in Emundi. Haunting, rythmic vocals but with a beat that makes each song distinctive

5.0 out of 5 stars Australian didgeridoo with an international bounce, October 18, 2000

I may have a new favorite World Music record label, if this 50 minute instrumental gem is anything to go by. It's called `music for the Mind, Body & Soul', and it's not hype. The track I'm listening to right now - `Medicine Bear' - is `calling the warrior spirit for strength and courage to guide you into wisdom'. And it's done with some instruments called didgeridoo, djembes, kickbass, native american flute, and lots of chanting vocals like you might expect to hear to wish an ailing warrior well. Tribal Trance is `earth love's organic' new age music with a beat and a positive flow. You know those wildlife or Earth stores you step into in the mall, among the flowing waterfalls and pictures of endangered beasts? This is what you might hear, putting you in the deep mood to recycle, relax, and relish in the fact that there is still a group of smart people out there conserving such musical heritage for us. If you're into this world of sound at all, please check them out.
