Katherine D. Jones sold her first contemporary romance to BET books in 2003. Born in Leonardtown MD she spent her early years traveling around the world as a daughter of a Foreign Service Officer for the Department of State. She currently resides in San Antonio, TX.
Jones obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Hampton University in Hampton, VA. She has been married for over eighteen years to her husband, an army officer and Hampton graduate as well, and they have two handsome boys.
Jones says her writing is reflective of her travels, experience with government agencies and desire to help women become more aware of their personal power and strength. She believes in strong characters that are firmly grounded in real-world issues and problems.
Jones says she writes contemporary romance with a twist.
Writing credits include two novels published by BET Books in January and July 2004, LOVE WORTH FIGHTING FOR and WORTH THE WAIT. As well as magazine articles for Black Romance and several short stories.
She is co-winner of the 2005 Shades of Romance Magazine Reader's Choice FAVORITE NEW AUTHOR award and a 2005 Emma Award Nominee for the FAVORITE NEW AUTHOR category. Her second title, WORTH THE WAIT was a 4.5 star Romantic Times Top Pick for July 2004.

I was waiting for this story. I wondered could Ms. Jones make it work. Well she did. This book was good. Ms. Jones has a way of creating characters and plots that will hold your interest to the end.

Now she has shocked me with her preview at the end of the book. Just when I thought it was all over here she comes with the beginning. I am looking forward to that one too.
