I have read the frist book, Dive In, of the series. And in my opinion the first book is better. It seems like the second book repeats whats already in it, but thats just me.
What I do love extremely about the second book is that it gives a one page on the end of the first book so that you remember but don't have to go through the book getting told pretty much the first book again in "remembrence".
The last thing. I am 14 and this story really appeals to me(and my snooping mother) because it is real. It gives the ups and downs of relationships, the crazy but loving family, and the pressures that can take a relationship to the next step or break it.
ALTOGETHER, A REALLY GOOD BOOK!!!

I really enjoyed the first book Diving In, but did not like In the Deep End AT ALL! It was horrible in my opinion... To dramatic and Descriptive. Did not enjoy and do not recommend reading.

This book is one of the most moving and believable books I have ever read! I never cry at books or even movies but I have to say I was incredibly close by the time I finished this book!
This is the second book out of the three (reading the first one -diving in- before this is a good idea) and is just as entertaining addictive. I really couldn't put it down once I'd picked it up. Coll has forgiven Art for what had happened, and they are together and happy, except for one thing, and that one thing is the only thing Coll can't give Art. But slowly, she starts to want the same thing and pretty soon she takes the plunge, only to end up in more emotional trouble than she was before.
This is probably the best of the three, the author has really put her all in this book. You can really feel all of Coll's frustration, doubts and love for Art that once you finish it, it's hard to believe that it was only a book and did not actually happen.
Truly amazing book from beginning to end, if I could edit it I wouldn't change a thing. A definate must-read for all teens which gives a good in-sight on teen feelings. I would have given it a 10 if I could, ultimately amazing and moving, what can I say...READ IT!
