disturbing confessions,

I know the author and have heard firsthand the stories of the two women he raped and can attest that, though the principle attack seems to have been worse than he says, his accounts are as close to accurate as anyone could be expected to get in telling about their own evil deeds and the the results of these deeds. I'd rather have him dealing with his pathology in the open like this than letting it stew in his psyche alone. He is giving all of the proceeds to groups that deal with rape and is offering himself in any way that others wish to discuss and try to understand why he did what he did. There's more to the book than the rape - but it's clear he cannot for a moment escape the consequenses of the harm he caused.

Disturbing, Shocking, and Revelatory,

BS Eisenberg has written a book about the depravity of one man's life and journey from Brooklyn, NY to Mexico, to California Buddhist monasteries. His is so open and revealing of his own disturbed behaviors and journey, that he invites the reader to both understand his life's journey, and to help him make sense of his own disturbing doings etc. You will NOT be bored by reading this story, which starts out shocking you, and engages you the rest of the way. BS Eisenberg is to be applauded for his utter honesty if not his inexcusable mistreatment of women and the outing of his own daughter.

DEEP FOOL starts with a shocking bang right up front, and continues to unfold as the life journey of a man who keeps his head above water despite amazing loves and experiences. BS Eisenberg has captured his experiences in a way that will move you, provoke you. IT is not possible to read this book and be unmoved in some way by its contents. Provocative, interesting, telling, Deep Fool illustrates how we are all fools, some deep in this saha world.
