The Funky Fritters have finally released their debut CD full of great arrangements of some classic New Orleans funk/soul/jazz tunes. "Deep Fried Live" is a great CD that you'll never want to stop playing! The only thing better than this CD is catching the Fritters at a live show in NYC- if you have a chance to see this group I'd HIGHLY recommend it! [...].

On a 1,200 mile trip through the south, I gave "Deep Fried Live" the road test. It was the perfect soundtrack as trees
covered in Spanish Moss whizzed by. I found myself hitting the replay on "Everything I Do Gohna Be Funky From Now On." And on one particular sunny, Sunday morning in Georgia, "Saved" rivaled the local Gospel radio that pervade the airwaves in that neck of the woods. "Deep Fried Live" passed the road test with flying colors.
