I have never read such a short book (32 pages) that was so inexpensive (3.95) and packed with so much important information.I'm certain there are few taxpayers who would not benefit from reading "Deep In The Heart of Taxes".

KISS/SIB,

Mr. Weiss has met these criterion: see it big and keep it simple and straight foreward. His book recognizes that taxes are our responsibility. We MUST have the overall picture. It also correctly sends us to a CPA, unlike books that require you to be the expert.I expect to read this book at least once a year to keep my focus clear.

This book takes a particularly confusing subject and clarifies it to the average person. As a person who could be classified as a "tax-moron", I found this book extremely easy to understand and remarkably easy to read. Weiss uses humor and simple examples to help even a tax-disabled person like me. I have read other books for entreprenours and business owners, but this book is truly the clearest, easiest, and...belive it or not... most fun to read. It's compact format makes it perfect to leave next to the computer for quick reference. This is a perfect book for someone just starting out in business or learning how to manage their money better.

This review is from: Deep in the Heart of Taxes (Paperback)
Deep in the Heart of Taxes is a must read for every self-employed entrepreneur and home-based business owner! Yitz Weiss, CPA, with humor, inspiration and financial expertise, provides the reader with great tax tips and strategies that every self-employed individual needs to know. In a language even those new to business taxes can understand, Weiss covers several topics in great detail, such as home office deductions, how to hire your kids, payroll taxes, depreciation and how to avoid penalties when filing for an extension. This book may be small in size (32 pages), but just covering the basics of proper record keeping and valid business deductions make it a great value at only $3.95! We commend the author for providing this invaluable tax information at a price everyone can afford! - Michelle Jones, Editor of BetterBudgeting.com

By Bob Burg (Jupiter, Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Deep in the Heart of Taxes (Paperback)
This is an absolutely *superb* guidebook for today's home-based business owner. The information is crystal clear, easy to comprehend, and mixed with enough humor (actually, lots of great humor!) to make it a very interesting read, as well. I recommend that *all* home-based business owners own this book. In fact, in my opinion, team leaders should promote this book to everyone within their organizations. My sincere compliments to the author. He has put together a guide that can make a big - a very big - difference to home-based business owners; a difference that can affect their bottom line in a very positive way every year from now on.I recommend it highly!! |
